About the Journal

Aims and Scope
The Journal of Management Sciences and Applications (JOMSA) is an international, double-bind peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the Faculty of Management and Administration at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), Sofia, Bulgaria.
JOMSA publishes original empirical, theoretical and review articles that contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practice in management, public administration, governance, regional development, marketing, and related disciplines. The journal welcomes rigorous research that addresses contemporary challenges, innovations, and developments in organizations, institutions, businesses, and society.
The journal's areas of interest include, but are not limited to:

JOMSA encourages interdisciplinary approaches and international perspectives that enhance understanding of management and administrative processes in both public and private sector organizations.

The journal publishes two issues per year, in June and December, and welcomes submissions from researchers and scholars worldwide.

JOMSA is committed to increasing the visibility, accessibility, and impact of published research through inclusion in recognized abstracting and indexing services, scholarly repositories, and academic discovery platforms.

JOMSA is a Crossref member. Every published article is assigned a permanent Digital Object Identifier (DOI), ensuring persistent identification, reliable citation, and long-term accessibility.

The journal is registered with the ISSN National Centre for Bulgaria and holds a valid International Standard Serial Number (ISSN): 2815-3030.

Open Access
JOMSA provides immediate open access to its content, supporting the global exchange and dissemination of scientific knowledge.

All published articles are freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication without subscription or access restrictions.

JOMSA does not charge submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), publication fees, or access fees.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) Licence. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of published articles in accordance with the journal's licensing terms, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and source of publication.

Publisher and Ownership
JOMSA is published and owned by the Faculty of Management and Administration at the University of National and World Economy (UNWE), Sofia, Bulgaria.
The Editorial Board maintains full editorial independence with respect to manuscript evaluation, peer review, acceptance, rejection, correction, retraction, and publication decisions.

Editorial decisions are based exclusively on scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, and relevance to the journal's scope and are not influenced by commercial, financial, institutional, or personal interests.

The journal is managed by the Editorial Board and the Editor-in-Chief, who are responsible for all editorial decisions and the administration of the peer-review process.
